Buey raza Simmental - los bueyes de Amaren - Restaurante Amaren - Bilbao - El Templo de la carne - Las mejores chuletas de buey
The first studbook was established in Switzerland in 1803 in the canton of Bern. Today it is perhaps the best dual purpose breed, producing milk and meat with equal emphasis. However, its main advantage is that it is the most fertile of the breeds. Animals whose meat stands out not only for its quantity but also for its quality, its best qualities being
the texture and juiciness provided by its high levels of intramuscular fat. They are animals of great corpulence, physical strength and endurance, typical characteristics of Swiss mountain and valley cattle.
In addition, the harsh climatic conditions allow them to adapt to extreme temperatures, making them tough and strong animals.
